User Guide: Industrial 45cm Guillotine Paper Cutter
This heavy-duty 45cm Guillotine is a precision tool designed for A3, A4, and smaller formats. With a 40mm cutting thickness and automatic pressing, it is built for high-volume environments.
Follow this guide to ensure professional results and operator safety.
1. Operating Instructions
- Step 1: Power On: Connect to a stable AC220V power supply and switch the machine on. Ensure the digital display or indicators are active.
- Step 2: Set the Measurement: Use the Manual Control to push the back gauge to your desired cutting size (Min: 50mm / Max: 450mm). Verify the measurement for ±0.5mm precision.
- Step 3: Insert Paper: Place your stack (up to 40mm thick) against the back gauge and side guide. Ensure the stack is perfectly square.
- Step 4: Automatic Pressing: Once you initiate the cycle, the machine will automatically clamp the paper to prevent shifting during the cut.
- Step 5: The Cut: Engage the cutting buttons. Note: Most industrial units require two-hand operation for safety. Hold until the blade has completed its cycle and returned to the top position.
2. How to Take Care of Your Guillotine
To maintain the ±0.5mm precision and extend the life of the 900W motor, follow these maintenance steps:
Blade Maintenance
- Keep it Sharp: A dull blade strains the motor and leaves jagged edges. Sharpen or replace the blade if you notice the machine struggling or the bottom sheets of the stack are not clean-cut.
- Blade Change: When changing blades, always use the provided blade-changing tool. Never touch the edge of the blade directly.
Lubrication & Cleaning
- Wax the Table: Periodically apply a small amount of silicone spray or specialized machine wax to the stainless steel bed. This allows the paper to slide smoothly.
- Clear the Debris: After every shift, use a soft brush or compressed air to remove paper dust and off-cuts from the internal tracks and the cutting slot.
- Oil the Guides: Apply a drop of machine oil to the back-gauge screw and side rails once a month to keep the manual pushing mode smooth.
Safety & Electrical
- Power Down: Always turn off and unplug the machine when performing maintenance or changing the blade.
- Weight Management: Remember the unit weighs 115kg. Ensure it is placed on a stable, level industrial workbench that can handle the weight and the vibration of the motor.
SAFETY WARNING: Never attempt to cut materials other than paper or cardstock (such as metal or wood), as this will permanently damage the blade and may cause mechanical failure. Keep hands clear of the clamp and blade area at all times while the power is on.
