1. Technical Overview

Laminating Width: 335mm (Perfect for A3/A3+ sheets).

Mode: Supports both Hot (for standard thermal lamination) and Cold (standard for UV DTF).

2. Setup for UV DTF (Cold Lamination)

For most UV DTF applications, the lamination of Film B onto Film A is done using Cold Lamination to preserve the adhesive properties and prevent the film from stretching.

Step 1: Power On: Switch the machine on.
Step 2: Set Mode: Set the machine to Cold or set the temperature to 0°C (off). The rollers will turn, but the heating elements will remain inactive.
Step 3: Loading Film B: Place your B-film roll on the upper bracket. Ensure the adhesive side (tacky side) is facing the printed A-film.
Step 4: Alignment: Feed the leading edge of Film B through the rollers. Align it perfectly with the edge of your printed A-film to avoid wrinkles.
Step 5: Pressure Adjustment: Since the YH9350 supports thicknesses up to 5mm, ensure the pressure is firm enough to push out air bubbles but not so tight that it skews the film.

3. Hot Lamination Mode (For Standard Projects)

If you are using the machine for standard document protection or specific heat-activated films:

Pre-heat: Set the temperature (typically 110°C – 130°C for standard 100-micron pouches).
Wait: Wait roughly 3 minutes for the “Ready” light.
Speed: The YH9350 is efficient, laminating a sheet in approximately 0.3 to 3 minutes depending on thickness.

4. Maintenance & Success Tips

Anti-Bubble Technique: When starting a UV DTF run, use a “leader” sheet (a scrap piece of paper) to start the lamination. This ensures the B-film is tensioned correctly before it hits your expensive UV prints.
Keep Rollers Clean: UV DTF adhesive can sometimes leak onto the rollers. Use a soft cloth with a small amount of alcohol to wipe the rollers only when the machine is cool.
Power Stability: As with all SourcePrinting equipment, this machine performs best with a stable 220V supply. If your shop experiences power dips, consider a small voltage regulator to keep the motor speed consistent.
The “Stop” Rule: If you are using Hot Mode, always turn the heat off but keep the rollers rotating for 2 minutes before powering down completely. This prevents the heat from flat-spotting the rubber rollers.
